Kevin Mead is a writer/director/producer of and actor in things. He is a member of sketch comedy group, Mike Duffy, and wrote and stars in their show, "Lonely People" which is currently running at UCB Chelsea. He is also a member of the mysterious improv group, Butts. He co-produced, co-directed, and wrote the pilot "Startups" - a finalist in the 2012 Comedy Central Short Pilot Competition and the 2012 New York Television Festival, with his production company, Melge. He is a 2-time semi finalist in the Samuel French Off-Off Broadway play festival, the most recent time for a play co-written with fellow Mike Duffy member, Darren Miller. He also co-directed and wrote the short film, "Charlie On Parole" starring TJ Miller. He likes to rap sometimes, and can be found on weird rap forums around the web as a member of the group "YouSuck." He has studied improv with Betsy Stover, Lennon Parham, Neil Casey, Shannon O'Neill, and Will Hines, and has studied sketch with Dan Klein.
