Darren is a writer and actor living in Los Angeles. He started as a member of receSs, the comedy group at The George Washington University. He has studied at UCB since 2007 under Lennon Parham, Betsy Stover, Charlie Todd, Anthony King, Charlie Sanders, Shannon O'Neill, Will Hines, and Chris Gethard. Darren wrote for the NY UCB Maude teams CHUNK and Ripley, and is a member of the group Mike Duffy, who performed their sketch show Lonely People at UCB from August 2012 to January 2013. He is a co-founder of Melge, a comedy film/video production company. He co-wrote, co-starred, and co-produced Melge's recent pilot Startups, which was a finalist in the 2012 New York Television Festival Comedy Central Pilot Competition. He co-wrote and co-starred in a short play with Kevin Mead, a fellow Mike Duffy member - Edison/Tesla: Brian/Dave - which won the 2012 Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival. He co-wrote and produced Charlie On Parole starring TJ Miller. He has also written many web shorts for Official Comedy and Funny Or Die, which have amassed millions of views online. Darren enjoys Reuben sandwiches and Endurance Vitamin Water. The latter has been discontinued for years, which is a source of constant heartbreak.
