Lauren Olson is a writer and actress living in Los Angeles. She is a member of UCB Maude house sketch team Gorgeous. Her show with Christine Bullen, Double Vision, ran for 8 months at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade LA – Franklin and was a part of the 2017 SF Sketchfest in San Francisco. Since relocating to Los Angeles in 2016 she has performed in Look at Me and The XX Factor at UCB, in independent monthly character shows American Town Hall and The Reunion and has improvised with Taco Supreme. She co-hosts The Gnat, a monthly character storytelling show and "The Moth" parody at Bar Lubitsch. You can listen to Lauren on Snap Impression, Who We Used To Be, Magnet Theater Podcast and on TV as the voice of a lion in a Fiber One commercial. She lived in NYC for over 10 years where she performed on Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater Maude Night sketch team Dangerous Woman, co-hosted the monthly Time Out NY and Village Voice recommended sketch character show Jana & Lauren Presents, performed in the New York International Fringe Festival with her multi-character solo show Our Condolences and taught Creating Characters for Sketch at Magnet Theater. Lauren is originally from Portland, Oregon. In June of 2016 she shared the honor, with her comedy partner Jana Schmieding, of being the Keynote speakers for the Theater Department Commencement at their alma mater - The University of Oregon.
