Laurel is an alum of Colby College (go White Mules -- I'm dead serious. That was our mascot) and she's an alum of the Circle in the Square Acting Conservatory in New York City. She performed improv and sketch comedy for 5 years in Chicago with a long list of groups including People of Earth and The Armando Show and she's a founding member of the highly acclaimed improv group the Rag Dolls. Laurel was a cast member of the famous comedy theater Boom Chicago in Amsterdam from 2005 to 2006.   Since 2007, Laurel has appeared in four comedy pilots for Oxygen, G4 and Telepix, all of which you'll never see. But they're funny! Really funny. Recently, Laurel wrote and performed her second solo show BREAKDOWN CITY at UCB and selections from that were included in one of those comedy pilots.
