Kate Spencer has been performing at the UCB Theatre since 2002. She currently co-hosts the monthly pop culture panel show Shut Up! I Hate You! and performs with the improv team Reuben Starship. Kate is the author of the upcoming memoir THE DEAD MOMS CLUB (Seal Press, Fall 2017) and a contributing writer for Cosmopolitan.com. Additionally, her work has been featured on Rolling Stone, The Washington Post, Esquire, Buzzfeed, Refinery29, Women's Health, Salon, The Huffington Post, The Daily Beast, Scary Mommy, Mommyish, and Modern Loss, and in books like Gawker's Guide to Conquering All Media and My Parents Were Awesome. Previously, Kate worked as a Senior Producer, Writer, and On-Air Host at VH1 for seven years, covering all things pop culture and entertainment. Has she been to the Oscars? Yes.
