Kyle Milner is only mildly comfortable talking in the third person. He first started improv after he gave a speech about Bill Murray in a college course at Cal Poly SLO and a fellow student told him he should tryout for the college team (Smile and Nod). He played with them for two years until the college kicked him out for not going to classes for weeks on end. He changed colleges from Cal Poly to Cal State Fullerton, and he changed majors from math to theater. Then he stepped away for 10 years and played guitar and wrote songs for Wooden Robot (one of 2011’s Top 100 Unsigned Bands in LA according to some blog that doesn’t exist anymore). But now he’s back, with a vengeance. He has played with such illustrious indie teams as Loose Moose and The Terrors.
