Neil D'Astolfo is a New York-based actor, comedian and writer. As an actor, Neil has performed Off-Broadway at the Atlantic Theater (opposite Mark Ruffalo), Cherry Lane Theatre, Classic Stage Company, NYSAF, New York Theatre Workshop, Pershing Square Signature Center, Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre, Soho Rep, WP Theatre, etc. TV: "High Fidelity" (upcoming) and "The Path" (Hulu), "Understudies" (dailymotion). Film: The Healer. Neil is currently a house performer at The Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) Theatre, performing on the Maude Night sketch team Glamour College as well as host of "Gay Tube (but Not Porn)". Neil’s first full-length comedic play, Shameless, received a staged reading at Atlantic Stage 2 as part of PTP/NYC’s After Dark Series and made him a 2017 Semi-Finalist for a Creative Residency at SPACE on Ryder Farm. His second comedy, Mister Miss America, made him a finalist at SPACE and earned Neil an invitation to join All for One Theater’s Solo Collective, through which he received a workshop production and, most recently, a commercial contract aimed at an Off-Broadway premiere in Spring 2020. Neil’s original half-hour pilot, TRIBE, has been named a Top 50 Teleplay at the 2019 Cinequest Screenplay Competition, a Top 10 at the 2019 Austin Comedy Short Film Festival, and was most recently announced as a Semifinalist at the 50th Annual Nashville Film Festival. Neil is currently an adjunct professor at Pace University’s School of Performing Arts and holds an MFA from Columbia University.
