Mark Sarian hails from suburban Philadelphia where he first learned how to be bitterly disappointed in all things sports related. He has been performing stand-up, sketch and improv comedy since 1998. From 1995 to 1996, Mark served as Mr. Baltimore, appearing in television and radio commercials promoting tourism for downtown Baltimore. He was an advertising copywriter for seven years before becoming a writer/actor full time. He has appeared in dozens of national and local television and radio commercials including; Wendyâ€™s, GoDaddy, Blockbuster, Citizens Bank, SlimFast, TVLand, Avis, East Side Marios, and Yahoo. Mark began his UCB career performing on two Harold Teams, Beautiful Cop and Suppertime. He also produced and performed in several improv shows at the UCB, most notably The Millers and Action 5 News, both performing at improv festivals around the country. His two-man sketch group, Mark & Ari (Ari Voukydis) garnered several national comedy festival appearances (SF Sketchfest, LA Comedy Festival, Chicago Improv festival) and also had a short film they wrote, shot and directed by John Landis (Animal House) for JibJab.com. Mark can also be seen in films and television including; One Last Thing, The Tombs, Space Cadet, and Childrens Hospital. In 2014, Mark produced, wrote and starred in a short film, Newsers, that was an Official Selection to the New York Television Festival. Mark now lives in Los Angeles with is hard-working wife and lazy dog.
