Anika began studying improv and sketch writing at UCB in 2013. She’s proud to say she’s been performing sketch and improv with her improv team, Corn Bread Kitchen, since 2017. UCB Credits Include: Black Twitter Show. Outside of sketch comedy and improv, Anika trolled the first half of reality dating show, Catching Kelce, on E! in 2016. She played an even more unaware and wacky persona of herself to which friends and family exclaimed they did not see the difference! Anika is a writer, host and sketch performer for a digital men’s magazine, Mel Magazine, where she collaborates with two of her Cornbread Kitchen improv teammates. You’ve also probably seen Anika in commercials and those annoying YouTube ads. Anika is originally from Minnesota with a background in musical theatre and competitive dance. She graduated from the William Esper Acting Conservatory 2 year program in 2010 in New York City and then relocated to Los Angeles in 2012 where she continues to work as an actor, part time model who has to keep her day job, comedian and writer.
