Anthony Sneed is a visual & performance artist living in Brooklyn NY. As an actor, he can be seen in the feature films Chasing Banksy & Bad Biology. His self-penned one man show, The Buffalo, recently had a sold out run at the 2015 NYC Fringe Fest & Theatre Row where it was hailed as a fascinating, gut-wrenching work (NYtheatreNow). You can see him perform improve weekly with his Magnet house team Avalanche. As a filmmaker, Anthony has directed work starring the likes of Horatio Sanz, Fred Armisen, James Adomian & Anthony Atamanuik. He also shot & edited the original Trump vs Bernie: The Debate! videos. Continuing his long term collaboration with cult director Frank Henenlotter, Anthony is currently cinematographer & producer for a documentary about Mike Diana, the first & only artist in American history to be found guilty of obscenity. As a visual artist in the pixel minimalist genre, Sneed has exhibited solo shows on both coasts and shown alongside such luminaries as Sol LeWit, Larry Bell, Shepard Fairey, FAILE & Judith Supine. His work has been featured in The San Francisco Chronicle, Amsterdam’s DePers, Gothamist & more. Anthony has studied improv under: Kevin Mullaney, Ed Herbstman, Michael Delaney, Shannon O’Neil, Christina Gausas, Sebastian Conelli, Rachel Hamilton, Peter McNerney, Sean Conroy, Rick Andrews, Anthony Atamanuik, Gavin Speiller, Shaun Diston, Will Hines, Ryan Karels, Erik Tanouye, Tim Martin, Alex Marino, & more. An avid film & music enthusiast, Anthony’s life goal is to collect the entire Criterion Collection, of which he has over 300 titles. His favorite being Clouzot’s The Wages of Fear.
