Ruha Taslimi is an improviser, actor, writer, dancer, choreographer from Los Angeles. They are thrilled to be performing on UCB Harold night with GHOST as well as on UCB Maude night with Thank You For a Lovely Evening. Ruha acts in the short flim BLOCKS, a Sundance and SXSW 2020 official selection. Ruha currently hosts, produces, writes and performs for their monthly show Legitimate Goddamn Theatre "One act plays by UCB's Best". You can also see them performing with the Shahs of UCB Sunset, hosts of the Annual Persian New Year show at UCB; The Score, silent Soundtrack Improv and Dance/Lip Sync numbers; Maestro, Musical Improv; and at UCB Drag Race/Drag Race: Improvised Untucked as one of the Ozmanauts. They recently had the privilege of performing Gala by French Choreographer Jérôme Bel presented by CAP-UCLA and Ford Theatres at The Ace Hotel Theatre. A lover of crystals, cats and magic in the world.
