Ruha Taslimi is an artist, improviser, actor, writer, dancer, choreographer, comedian, performer from Los Angeles. Ruha currently hosts, produces, writes and performs original one act plays at their monthly show Legitimate Goddamn Theatre, a show of one act plays by UCB's best writers and performers. Currently performing on Maude night with a dream team, EMERALD, a UCB house sketch team that writes and performs a new 30 minute sketch show every month. You can also see Ruha performing with Almost Midnight, one of UCBLA's Musical Mess Hall Teams; The Score, performing Silent Soundtrack Improv sets as well as killer Dance and Lip Sync numbers; the Shahs of UCB Sunset, the all Persian team who host the Annual Persian New Year show at UCB Sunset; and at UCB Drag Race/Drag Race Untucked as one of the Ozmanauts, co-host Ozma's dancers for the Lip Sync performances. Ruha recently had the privilege of performing Gala by French Choreographer Jérôme Bel as part of the Los Angeles Company presented by CAP-UCLA and Ford Theatres at The Ace Hotel Theatre in DTLA.
