Andrew Santiago is an improviser, sketch actor, stand up comedian, and writer from Brooklyn, NY.
After a two year run with "Emerson Comedy Workshop," his alma mater's first comedy troupe, Andrew began studying sketch and improv at UCB NY in 2011, the literal moment he graduated.
During his first stint in LA, he was a monologue joke contributor for TBS’s “George Lopez Tonight,” and worked in development at Comedy Central in LA. Tired of the sunlight and beautiful beaches, he returned to NYC and worked on “Billy On The Streets,” and yes, he DID work on the Amy Poehler Christmas episode.
He started his standup career in NYC in 2015, while working as a writer & performer for Univision’s digital comedy platform "Flama" before moving to LA to work at digital media company "We Are Mitú," where he was on-screen talent, a staff writer, editor, and content producer with a traveling Facebook Watch show entitled "What's Good In Your Hood."
He starred in and co-wrote "Wow! Que Show!" a Spank Show which had two successful runs at UCB Sunset. The show was a parody of the world famous Latino variety show "Sabado Gigante."
Currently he performs with his UCB Maude House Team "MOON GOON." You can catch them every first Wednesday of the month at UCB Sunset at 8:30pm.
You can find his handle @andrewsantiago1 on every single social media platform. Or check out his website www.andrewsantiago.com. He designed it himself.
