Richie Root is a Los Angeles writer and actor who has studied at the UCB Theatre since 2009. UCB improv credits include: Tournament of Nerds, The Orbiting Bear, Magic to Do, The Cagematch, Let's Do This, Kid Grift Steals Your Show, and Thanksgiving 3990. He is a member of the improv teams Murdercliff and the long-time UCB Harold team Kid Grift, who can be seen around Los Angeles. Richie co-wrote and co-stars in the long-running musical Les Sizzlerables. He also co-wrote and acted in Bombs Away: The Bomb Squad Musical, Kid Grift's Apartment Party, Smart & Brave, and his one man show Abducted. He is also a writer and performer for UCB's Quick & Funny Musicals and the Starz web series Tvoovies. Richie only has three freshwater aquariums in his apartment.
