Matt Visconage is an improviser and writer from the great state of Maryland who has been taking classes with UCB since 2009 and performing improv in general since 2005! Most recently he was on the UCBLA Mess Hall team Roxbury and had a blast. So much so that they still perform with each other at Sidecoach, every first Saturday at 530pm in the UCB inner sanctum! Before moving out to LA Matt lived and performed comedy in Chicago for 4 years and trained with The Second City, IO, The Annoyance, Kevin Mullaney, and many more. During his time in Chicago he was on a Harold team at I.O. called Dual Citizen AND co-creator of a sketch comedy group called Office Printer Comedy! In addition to improv, Matt is a comedy writer and has written for/contributed to Splitsider, Clickhole, and The Onion's Starwipe (RIP) to name a few. He's also a co-writer for two different books - Trump's America: Buy This Book And Mexico Will Pay For It published by Gallery Books (an imprint of Simon & Schuster) and most recently - Welcome To The Future, Which Is Mine - by Not Elon Musk published by Grand Central Publishing (a division of Hachette Book group) Outside of improv Matt is currently working on his first solo humor book - The Day Job Survival Handbook! - coming out in 2020!
