Ellena Soloner (aka Ellena Doe) has been writing, directing and performing at the UCB Theatre since 2010. Her UCB directing credits include Maude Night, "Branded Content Will Set You Free," "F*ck Judy Towers," and "Standards & Practices," a play she co-wrote with John Zachary Townsend. She directed and produced a short film adaptation of S&P that played the film festival circuit and is available to watch online at kasperprojects.com. She performed on several Harold Teams and has appeared on TV on Comedy Central's "Broad City," IFC's "BUNK," "The Chris Gethard Show," and in videos on The Onion News Network. The production company she co-founded, Harlow Fowler, produces experimental works of theater for intimate audiences, including the monthly flagship show, Liminal Salon.
