JULIA WIEDEMAN is a writer, performer and storyteller based in NYC. She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and has lived all over the world. She studied Theatre, Dance,and Philosophy at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. She has performed onstage, backstage, on film, online, burlesque as Roja Rouge, improv as herself, and at the Metropolitan Opera as a supernumerary. Twice she has won The Dirtiest Sketch Contest at UCB. She also writes book reviews for Splitsider. Her show NAKED PEOPLE, directed by Angela Dee, had a nice long run at UCB NYC and LA and went to the Women in Comedy Festival in 2013. Come tell a story at the weekly storytelling open mic she hosts, "Happy Hour Story Hour", at UCB East every Monday.
