Take an Improv Class

While there are any number of ways to get started at the Upright Citizens Brigade Training Center, enrolling in Improv 101 is always a great first step. This foundational course not only introduces participants to the essential principles of improv, such as the famous "yes, and..." technique, but also provides an environment that promotes creativity.

If you're curious about Improv 101 at UCB, consider taking our drop-in! Hosted once a month in Los Angeles and New York City, students will be introduced to UCB's unique approach to improv comedy through games, group exercises and scene work.

Participate in the Jam!

A great way to meet new people and get on stage is to check out One Big Jam! Every Sunday at UCB in Los Angeles, members of Harold Night host a weekly improv jam. This inclusive event is open to anyone regardless of experience. This very fun and supportive jam provides a low-risk way for students to get reps and be part of the UCB community!
