Betsy Stover has been with the UCB since 1997, and has taught all levels of improv there since 2001. Betsy studied improv with the original 4 members of the UCB, Susan Messing, Mick Napier, Joe Bill, Armando Diaz, Mark Sutton, and others. She studied acting and directing at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. When she’s not teaching and performing improv, Betsy is acting and doing voice-over for TV, film, and the internet. She also created the long-running comedy podcast, Why Mommy Drinks. Betsy’s improv students have gone on to star on Saturday Night Live and Broadway, and create successful TV series. She takes full credit for their career accomplishments.
