Working Class Heroes / For The Culture, You’re Welcome

Working Class Heroes: Not all heroes wear capes! Some wear reflective vests, hats with fun logos, or perhaps a snazzy short-sleeved button-up. I wrote a solo character show to celebrate all those run of the mill, low-key incredibly complex oddballs working regular jobs, who we get to (have to?!) talk to, who also might just be the most important people in our lives.

Anointed Greens Present: For The Culture, You’re Welcome: A Black girl sketch group explores topics in popular culture through a silly and thoughtful lens for all to enjoy. Do you like music? Trivia? Tubi Films? Well, Anointed Greens has it all! By the end, you’ll be thanking us for the culture and we will be saying “You’re welcome.”

The show features five sketches written and performed by Paige Elson, Dyani Rejae, and April Rock. Collectively their on-screen and writing credits include Bel-Air, Frasier (reboot), Grand Crew, Twenties, Nickelodeon, Just Fab, and Apple, as well as UCB Harold Night, Maude Night, Mess Hall, being Kissed by Seal, touched by Beyonce, and DM’d by Mariah Carey. So as you can see, Black Royalty.
