Women & Things / Dickmatized
May 10 @ 8:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Women & Things: After sold-out shows in New York City and Las Vegas, “Women & Things” is taking the stage at UCB Franklin! Fall into Mimi von Schack’s fantastical and fabulous inner world of almost-alive objects and larger-than-life characters: from a fading starlet to a biblical bombshell, a desperate telephone to a bra that’s just been taken off. With eye-catching costumes and rousing musical parody numbers, this character cabaret pokes fun at the minutiae of being alive with camp takes on exaggerated female tropes and the silliness of everyday life.
“An amazing talent.” – What’s the LGBTea
“Unshakeable camp.” “The best cabaret in town.” “She is the moment.”
“Women & Things” is written and performed by award-winning comedian Mimi von Schack (Julianne St Germaine: Live!, Upright Citizens Brigade, The Groundlings, Hollywood & Edinburgh Fringes) and directed by John Milhiser (Saturday Night Live, Ghostbusters, Drama Club), with live music by Marshall Ross (Carly and the Universe).
DICKMATIZED: A sketch show that wades into the hot wet garbage waters of today’s dating culture. Have you or a loved one had their emotions held hostage by a fuckboy? Have you spent hours trying to craft a perfect flirty text to someone who responds 4 days later with a picture of their average penis? Well, you may not be eligible for financial compensation, but you definitely should come commiserate with us about it – because we’ve been there too, hun.
Written & Performed by Lucy Blehar, Mary Ryan, & Kyle Kasabian
Directed by Kyle Kasabian
This is an 18+ show.
