Just for Laughs Showcase: Characters

LA’s best up-and-coming comedic actors audition for the biggest comedy festival in the world. The Characters show at the Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in July is where the comedy industry flocks to find the next stars of late night sketch shows, TV sitcoms, movies and more. Come watch undiscovered talent perform original characters, impressions, parodies, musical acts, monologues and other surprises. Some of the many Characters who launched their careers at Just For Laughs include Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Heidi Gardner (SNL), Jackie Clarke (writer/producer, Superstore), Ego Nwodim (SNL), Natalie Palamides (Netflix’s Nate), Chloe Fineman (SNL), Andrew Leeds (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist), and Chris Redd (SNL).

Show Start Time & Refund Policy:

All sales are final. The show starts at the time listed. If you are not at the theater more than 5 minutes before the start of the show, we may release your tickets to the waitlist.

Covid Policy:

It is strongly recommended that audience members be vaccinated and wear masks at our shows. We will provide masks at the door for those who would like one. Additionally, we reserve the right to require masks for select shows based on the needs of the performers and staff.

Parking:

Please allow ample time for parking. UCB does not provide parking services. Street parking is available in the neighborhoods surrounding the theater.
