Yamara Taylor

Yamara Taylor graduated from UCLA’s School of Theater and Film and studied improv and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater in Los Angeles. She got her start on animated series, THE BOONDOCKS. Some of her credits include the ABC comedy, BLACK-ISH, DAVE (FXX),  SAVED BY THE BELL (Peacock) and consulting for THE MAYOR (NBC) and RAP SH*T (HBO Max).

She also writes features, including projects for Kevin Hart, Gabrielle Union and a musical comedy for contemporary artist Hebru Brantley’s Angry Hero production company. She’s served twice as a mentor for LOL’S Women Right Now screenwriting fellowship.

Yamara is a Scorpio.
