
Charlie Sanders is an actor, director, producer, and Emmy Award nominated, Peabody Award winning, and WGA Award winning writer. He created the anthology sci-fi comedy series Weird City for YouTube premium. He was a writer snd producer for all five seasons of Key & Peele on Comedy Central and won a WGA Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series for Blake Shelton’s Not-So-Family-Christmas on NBC. He was also a writer for The Chris Gethard Show on Fuse TV, Human Giant on MTV, and The Characters on Netflix. Charlie starred as Officer Joe Stubeck on MTV’s Death Valley and has also appeared on Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Mindy Project, The League, W/ Bob and David, Community, The Office, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and much more.
He started his career at the UCB Theater in New York City where he was a member of the award winning sketch and improv group Police Chief Rumble and was a regular sketch performer on Late Night with Conan O’Brien. At UCB LA he was a performer in the improv groups Shitty Jobs, Buffoons, and Facebook. Charlie is an avid player of Dungeons & Dragons and other tabletop and role playing games. He lives in Los Angeles and is a proud cat dad.
