Ashley Hale Spellman is an actor, writer and comedian currently living in Los Angeles. She is originally from South Haven, Michigan, a small tourist town where her family ran Michigan's oldest family owned clothier- 'Hale's Good Good's: Since 1855.' She attended The Theater School at DePaul University in Chicago, before moving to New York City to attend The Neighborhood Playhouse. She began at UCB NY in 2006 and has studied with Shannon O'Neill, Neil Casey, Anthony King, Eliza Skinner, Chris Gethard and Will Hines. She was a member of the UCB Maude Team 'STONE COLD FOX' and she was co-star/creator of the sketch show 'EVEN LADIES SHIT THE BED' which ran at UCB NY in 2008-2009. In Los Angeles, Ashley has continued to perform at UCB and completed The Groundlings school program. Past credits include 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend' on The CW and 'Broken' on ABCd. In 2016 Ashley wrote and performed her one woman show 'Having a Bad Day w/ Ashley Hale Spellman' at UCB Franklin.
