Ryan Hunter is a North Carolina-born writer/director living in Los Angeles. He formerly wrote for the UCB-NY Maude teams Beige and 212 and was a writer/director on the digital team SCRAPS. Most recently he co-created the series "Mr. Student Body President" on go90, serving as co-director, showrunner and head writer for four seasons / 40 episodes, and winning the Streamy Award for Best Directing and Best Ensemble Cast. After graduating from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a degree in Film Directing, Ryan co-founded POYKPAC, a sketch group with over 80 million YouTube views and winners on the Syfy reality competition "Viral Video Showdown." His work includes comedy projects with Comedy Central, College Humor, The Onion, Broadway Video, MTV, IFC, Cracked, and AOL/Huffington Post and is the co-author/illustrator of all four books in the "Coloring for Grown-Ups" series from Penguin Books. Ryan is a member of WGA-West and is repped by Black Box Management.
