Emily Maya Mills has been a regular performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles since 2005. She's appeared on Parks and Recreation, Comedy Bang! Bang!, Childrens' Hospital, Key and Peele, The Birthday Boys, The Life and Times of Tim, Harry's Law, Crash and Bernstein, Ellen and many of television's most humiliating commercials. Once a member of such historic UCB Maude teams as Wall of Sound, Our Struggle, Kirkland Signature and Hot Mess, Emily has also written and performed two one-woman shows at UCBTLA: Hopefiend and God Hates Figs. The latter earned praise from the LA Weekly which called it, "...a sagacious autopsy of the frailties and foibles of life," and asked, "Could Emily Maya Mills be the next Carol Burnette?" Other UCBTLA shows include Comedy Death Ray, Jeff Garlin's Combo Platter, The Charlyne Yi Show, Brett Gelman's Human Garbage, Gelmania, The Roast of Baby Jesus, The Religion Show, The Freedom Show and many more. Emily is also an an accomplished stand-up and her all female sketch-trio, Birds of Prey won Punchline Magazine's Best New Sketch Group in 2011. Emily's been called a "Funny Female to Follow on Twitter" by the Huffington Post and once worked as a spokesmodel for cherry tomatoes. An Emerson grad, she was born and raised in San Francisco and has a cat-like dog that walks like a pony.
