Hayley has spent most of her life celebrating two things: Ontario peaches and the joys of improv. She has a long history with the world renowned Second City as a youth and adult instructor and Tour Co. alumnus, and has performed at the Detroit Improv Festival, the Boston Comedy Arts Festival, the Ottawa Improv Festival, Del Close Marathon, the SheDot and Big City Improv Festivals in Toronto. Hayley currently sits on the Board of Directors for The Guelph Comedy Festival. She has inspired hundreds of budding comedians to try stand-up for their first time, educated and empowered thousands of individuals and businesses through improv training and delighted thousands more at one-of-a-kind live comedy events hosted by The Making-Box, which launched Guelph's first storefront comedy theatre and improv training centre in 2017. As a co-owner of The Making-Box since 2015, she couldn’t be more proud of her business’s awards and accolades including being nominated for Innovation Guelph’s Start-Up Of The Year (2016), The Guelph Chamber of Commerce: Community Spirit Award (2016) and being named Best Live Theatre three years in a row. Personally, Hayley is a recipient of Guelph, Ontario’s Top 40 Under 40 award (2017), a Canadian Comedy Award Nominee (2015) and was recently named a 2018 YMCA-YWCA Guelph Woman of Distinction. Other career highlights include stage-kissing Whose Line Is It Anyway? star Colin Mochrie on the mouth. Twice.
