Alex is an improviser and sketch writer at UCB Theatre, where he's studied since 2015. He originally hails from Pittsburgh, PA and is a graduate of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service. His performance background is in dance and musical theatre; when in high school, Alex came in 2nd in the National High School Musical Theatre Awards, and when in college, he sang with his a cappella group for President Obama, the National Security Council, Coldplay, and the Jonas Brothers, among others. He has studied improv with Brandon Scott Jones, Silvija Ozols, Patrick Clair, Patrick Noth, Morgan Grace Jarrett, and Zack Willis, and sketch with Brandon Bassham and Madalyn Baldanzi. Alex is currently on indie improv team Empress, which hosts two monthly shows at the PIT. He's thrilled to announce that you can catch him in 2018 on Maude Night writing for UCB house team Presley.
