Alan Johnson is an improviser, comedy writer, and performer, who was born in Dallas, TX. After graduating from Quinnipiac University with a degree in Film, he moved to Los Angeles. Alan has studied improv and sketch at UCB and The Pack Theater, where he has had the privilege to study under Beth Appel, Billy Merritt, Eric Moneypenny, Emily Candini, Sam Brown, Will Hines, and many other great teachers. Alan has written videos for Cracked.com, articles for Howler Magazine, and screenplays for no one. He also hosts On Comedy Writing, a podcast about the business and craft of writing comedy. Currently, he is the intern for Earwolf's improv4humans and is considering enrolling in NYU's MFA Dramatic Writing program. He also thinks his headshot is funny.
