Juliana is a producer at UCB Comedy and a filmmaker with many passions. Along with producing, she writes, directs, art directs, creates costumes, designs makeup, and sometimes even performs! Her work has been featured at Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca, and AFI film festivals, as well as IFC, Above Average, and Nerdist. She is currently Senior Producer of LASH, a UCB Comedy digital team that produces weekly videos of "women womenizing themselves." She recently produced several series for IFC, including "Faeries", "Laurie", "Rage", and "How Shit Works", which can be found on IFC's Comedy Crib. Another recent series she produced with UCB Comedy, "Gary Saves the Graveyard", has received wide acclaim, with praise from USA Today, LA Times, Splitsider, LA Weekly, Huffington Post, and Entertainment Weekly. In this series she also served as Art Producer and Makeup Artist, turning an entire cast into zombies. Her costume work recently appeared in the IFC series "Faeries", and she recently created the costumes and makeup for UCB / Nerdist's "Villains Assistant" series, creating finished looks for Cersei Lannister, Deadpool, Darth Vader, and Loki. Her work in Art Direction includes productions for Above Average, ESPN, UCB's LASH videos, and UCB's "Engaged" series, starring Laura Grey and Jordan Klepper. She is also co-creator and host of DomesticFeminist.com, a blog that mashes up our feminist and feminine sides.
