David Guzman is a New York City based comedy writer and improviser. He writes for the Maude team Bundt at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, and has written for the Maude teams (212) and Charles. He's a features and headline contributor for The Onion and was formerly a video staff writer. He's also written and directed for SketchCram at the UCB and wrote a live radio comedy called D.B. Cooper in the 38th and 1/3rd Century for The Pulp Variety Streamcast. His work has appeared online at The New Yorker, McSweeney's, Above Average, Funny Or Die, and Splitsider. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, David is a graduate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where he studied English and wrote for The Every Three Weekly, the campus satirical newspaper.
