Nat Towsen is a standup comedian, writer, and actor from Manhattan, New York. He hosts the monthly comedy/culture/history showcase Nat Towsen's Downtown Variety Hour at UCB East. Nat writes for CollegeHumor and their sister site, Dorkly. He is also a columnist for VICE Magazine. As a standup comedian, Nat has performed at venues such as UCB, Standup NY, New York Comedy Club, Comix, Rififi, The PIT, The Comedy Studio, The Comedy Connection, ImprovBoston, The Climate Theatre in San Francisco, a steakhouse in Jersey City, a resort on the coast of Turkey, and the auditorium of the elementary school in an Alaskan town of 920 people. At UCB, Nat has trained under Chris Gethard, Bobby Moynihan, Zack Woods, Shannon O'Neil, Curtis Gwynn, Charlie Todd, and Kevin Mullaney. In addition to his own show, he hosts Lloyd Night once a month at UCB East. Nat Towsen has been called a "polymath comedian" by The A.V. Club and a "bright young man" by Bill Gates.
