Melissa Hunter is an actor-writer-producer-lover-of-hyphens. She's thrilled to be a writer for the Maude team Eastwood. Melissa is the creator and star of the web series ADULT WEDNESDAY ADDAMS, which earned over 12 million views and received praise from the LA Times, MTV, People Magazine, Nylon, Huffington Post, Marie Claire and more. She wrote and starred in the NBC pilot WOLFGIRL, for the NBC Playground competition -- where they selected 8 creators to make pilots for the network. Melissa co-created and starred in a web series for Above Average (the digital arm of Broadyway Video) called BACKSEAT BITCHES, which Entertainment Weekly named one of the "6 Online Series That Deserve to Be On TV." She also stars in the New Form Digital series SHITTY BOYFRIENDS, co-starring Sandra Oh and executive produced by Lisa Kudrow. Currently, Melissa is writing a new comedy pilot for TruTV. She's repped at CAA for lit (Audrey Gordon and Rachel Rusch) and talent (Sam Bringardner and Luke Esselen). She thinks it's probably time to stop talking about herself in the third person.
